Holst Designs a New Home for Project Lemonade
A New Home with Purpose
Previously located within Lloyd Center Mall, Project Lemonade is moving into a new space that will help them provide consistent, long-term care. Since 2012, Project Lemonade has provided services to help foster youth in the community. Their new home in the Leftbank Building, located in the historic Albina District, will house 6,500 square feet for their store, offices, and youth hub.
Inspiring Foster Youth
The selection of the space in the Leftbank Building came after a long process rooted in visioning, planning, and hope. An investment in their next decade of work, Holst toured many options with Project Lemonade to discover the best place for their new home. The design of the space merges the building’s industrial character with a bold, playful aesthetic. Bright colors and patterns were selected to highlight Project Lemonade’s mission to inspire self-esteem in foster youth.
Holst + Project Lemonade
Having worked with Project Lemonade over the last decade, Holst is thrilled to be able to help them bring their new home to life. We worked pro bono to design a space where youth can feel safe, supported, and celebrated.
Support the Cause
Project Lemonade needs support to make this space a reality. Their new home will enable them to engage over 3,500 youth and welcome 5,000+ caregivers and advocates annually. It will help them continue their work with 1,000+ volunteers and business partners.
By donating, you will support the project by providing financial stability during their relocation, covering move and renovation costs, leasing, operating expenses, and capacity building for program growth.
