Connor joined Holst with eight years of experience working in the industry in Texas. During this time, he worked on large-scale commercial office and tenant improvement projects. He also served as a member and chair of numerous committees with AIA Dallas, where he immersed himself in architecture advocacy at the local and state levels. He also had experience working on adaptive reuse projects, which gave him valuable insight for his work on the Washington County Center for Triage and Treatment Hillsboro Recovery Center. The building opened in May 2025 and provides outpatient services to support individuals with substance use disorders and those in addiction recovery. Connor was a key member of the team, working through complex construction challenges and ensuring the project’s success.

Most recently, Connor has shifted his focus to the Clackamas County Recovery Campus. This project will provide trauma-informed, peer-centered, comprehensive addiction services. Located on 6.3 acres, there will be spaces for withdrawal management, residential care, outpatient services, and care coordination, as well as on-site transitional housing.

How do I become an architect? What is the difference between Architecture and Engineering? Can I job shadow an architect for a day? How do architects turn designs into buildings? Can I tour your office with my child? What roles can I perform in architecture? How do I know if architecture is the field for me? Would an architect speak to my class about architecture? What degrees do I need to be an architect?

Holst invites curious minds to ask questions about architecture.
