With seven years of experience as an architectural designer, Daniel has worked on a variety of typologies, ranging from affordable housing projects across Oregon to single-family residential renovations and academic/institutional projects. He is currently working on Broadway Corridor Parcel 4A, a 229-unit, 14-story mass-timber affordable housing development located in Portland’s Pearl District.

Daniel’s educational background in both fine art and architecture informs his approach to design challenges, giving him a unique perspective honed through handcraft and creative problem solving. Over the past several years, he has been a volunteer instructor with Architects in Schools and has pursued independent travel research projects in the Mojave Desert and Utah. For the latter, he received a travel grant and later presented a gallery exhibition of mappings, collages, and drawings at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Can I tour your office with my child? What roles can I perform in architecture? How do I know if architecture is the field for me? Would an architect speak to my class about architecture? What degrees do I need to be an architect?
