Originally from Singapore, Kevin joined Holst with over nine years of experience working primarily on housing projects ranging from single-family residences to market-rate and affordable multi-family developments. He enjoys the problem-solving aspect of the design process, working through all phases to ensure a project’s success. Kevin is passionate about designing high-quality, equitable spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Kevin is currently working on Stillwater Bend, a 186-unit housing development in Kalispell, Montana. The units are dispersed across five walk-up buildings and two townhome buildings. It will feature ample amenities including a clubhouse with coworking space, a lounge/game room, a fitness center with a pool and a spa, as well as a playground and nature trails.

Outside of work, you can find Kevin perusing estate sales or flea markets, hosting a dinner party, or enjoying the water, either at a lake or on the coast, exploring Oregon’s great outdoors with his dog Katsu.

Education

Master of Architecture, Andrews University, 2018

Diploma of Architecture, Singapore Polytechnic, 2011

How do I become an architect? What is the difference between Architecture and Engineering? Can I job shadow an architect for a day? How do architects turn designs into buildings? Can I tour your office with my child? What roles can I perform in architecture? How do I know if architecture is the field for me? Would an architect speak to my class about architecture? What degrees do I need to be an architect?

Holst invites curious minds to ask questions about architecture.
