As a registered architect, Sean has professional experience with a wide range of project types, including recovery treatment, civic projects, spaces for arts and cultural institutions, educational facilities, and community engagement projects, among others. Passionate about humanistic architecture, Sean believes the best projects are co-created with their communities.

His approach aims to uncover the many layers of ecology, history, economics, and sociocultural contexts that exist in our world. This approach, blended with a strong understanding of site, context, light/shadow, materiality, and spatial characteristics, can result in truly meaningful architecture.

Sean recently developed a presentation titled “Changing the Culture of Architecture: Ethical Frameworks to Accelerate Progress,” which he will be presenting for the American Institute of Architects’ Minnesota chapter.
